Travis County, TX — January 1, 2024, one person was injured in an ATV accident shortly after 12:30 in the morning along Millhouse Drive.
According to reports, a 21-year-old man was traveling on a westbound ATV on Millhouse Drive approaching the Dewberry Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that the ATV ran the stop sign at the intersection and attempted a right turn onto northbound Dewberry Drive. Allegedly, the vehicle had been traveling at speeds deemed unsafe for the conditions. It reportedly collided with a vehicle that had been parked on the west side of Dewberry. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and collided with a second vehicle which had been parked behind the first. He came to rest between the two parked vehicles.
The man incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
