How Did This Accident Occur?

Single-car accidents may seem simple, yet they often leave a multitude of questions in their wake. Why did the Toyota move out of its lane? Did another vehicle force it to change lanes unexpectedly? Was the driver distracted or fatigued? Did the car have an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism?

I can’t answer those questions, despite decades of experience in accident investigations. But I know that the best way to get answers to through a complete investigation of this crash on North Freeway.

Investigators, either police or an independent third party, should scrutinize evidence from the scene, data from the car’s engine control module and any available video footage of the crash to piece together how this accident unfolded. A qualified expert may be needed to examine the car for signs of a mechanical issue.

The driver’s family deserves a clear picture of the crash.
