Houston, TX — May 25, 2024, a pedestrian was killed following a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 11:30 p.m. along the Gulf Freeway, I.H. 45.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a 48-year-old man was struck by a motor vehicle of unknown make or model—possibly a white or silver sedan. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.
The man suffered critical injuries as a result of the accident; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having been declared deceased on June 3, 2024.
