Collin County, TX — July 1, 2024, Anthony Ange was injured following a wrong-way driver accident at 10:19 p.m. along Dallas Parkway.
According to preliminary information about the accident, it happened in the area of Dallas Parkway and Light Farms Way, just north of Frontier Parkway.
Investigators said that 21-year-old Anthony Ange was in a Nissan Altima going northbound on Dallas Parkway. Authorities say a vehicle was traveling the wrong direction, causing a chain reaction where the Nissan was rear-ended by an Infiniti, pushing the Nissan into a Volkswagen.
Due to the accident, Anthony Ange was seriously injured. No other injuries were reported. Details about the alleged wrong-way driver and potential charges are unclear.

Did authorities ever find out what led to a driver getting on the wrong side of the road here? In my experience, it’s almost always due to drunk driving. Not only that, but investigations will often show a wrong-way driver was unlawfully over-served by a nearby bar or restaurant, so there could be two wrongdoers whose actions led to the crash.
That said, it’s up to the evidence to say for sure, and it’s just not clear from the preliminary reports whether or not authorities ever reached a proper conclusion to all of this. If nothing else, my hope is there was accountability for what was no doubt an easily avoidable series of events.
