How Did This Accident Occur?

Most people who read about this accident probably will assume that the motorcyclist is responsible for the crash, but that is not fair. Such assumptions are fueled by stereotypes that portray motorcyclists as reckless, but in my experience they are often more careful than other drivers because they know they know they have to watch out for their own safety.

Crashes like this deserve extra attention because motorcycles are more vulnerable to mechanical problems than other vehicles. Driver error is always a possible cause, but there is no use in starting an investigation from that point.

An in-depth vehicle inspection could pinpoint any malfunctions or defects that could have contributed to this crash, but that needs to be done by a qualified expert in a laboratory setting.

A thorough investigation will address any lingering questions the injured rider and his family have about this accident.
