Bexar County, TX — October 19th, 2024, Angele Southwell was killed and one other was injured following a hit-and-run accident at around 1:00 A.M. on New Mathis Road.
A search is underway for the party responsible for striking Angele Southwell, 62, and another pedestrian.
According to official reports, Angele Southwell and an unidentified woman were on foot at the time and were reportedly in the roadway attempting to cross the street. As they did so, a vehicle struck them.
The vehicle did not stop after the accident to render aid, and it fled the scene. Angele Southwell, along with the second pedestrian were taken to the hospital where Southwell succumbed to her injuries.
The vehicle responsible has not yet been identified, and this incident is still under investigation by authorities.
