Arlington, TX — June 15, 2024, Andrew Hickman was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 11:30 p.m. along East Division Street.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of the intersection of East Division Street and AT&T Way.
Investigators said that 22-year-old Andrew Julian Hickman was on foot at the time. While in the area of westbound lanes of East Division, it appears a vehicle hit Hickman, then continued driving and left the scene. As a result of the collision, Hickman had serious injuries.

Right now, there’s no available information about the suspect vehicle involved in the accident. I have to wonder if authorities have exhausted all potential leads to find this driver. One thing to consider, for example, is if there were any nearby cameras that either saw the accident or caught the vehicles going through the area when the accident happened.
That may seem like an obvious thing for authorities to look into, but I’ve actually had cases where it was the first thing we checked in our own investigations, and authorities just outright overlooked it. I certainly would hope they were more thorough here, but if they were, one would hope to see them release more information to the public in the hopes someone can come forward and ID the driver. Are those efforts being made here?
