Fort Worth, TX — May 10, 2024, Andrew Banz was killed and Nicholas Hazlewood was injured following a car accident at around 12:05 a.m. along I-35W.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened on the northbound I-35W service road in the area of Timberland Boulevard and Keller Hicks Road.

Investigators said that 19-year-old Andrew Banz was in a Kia Rio going northbound along the interstate at Timberland. 31-year-old Nicholas Hazlewood was in a Kia Sportage going eastbound. The vehicles crossed paths and collided.

Due to the accident, Andrew Banz was killed. Nicholas Hazlewood was injured. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.

Car accidents can be challenging enough without having to worry if authorities might have been biased in their investigations. Unfortunately, that can happen when one of the drivers is a teenager.
