Accident Report
El Paso, TX — May 14, 2026, Andres Saucedo was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 10.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2025 Kawasaki 1600 motorcycle was heading east when it crashed into 2022 Suzuki GSX motorcycle while changing lanes near Lomaland Drive. A 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan also was damaged in the collision.
Kawasaki rider Andres Saucedo, 37, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.
The other motorcyclist was not injured, the report states, but a front seat passenger in the van, a 44-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries, the report states.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the El Paso County crash at this time.

Most people who read about a crash like this likely would assume this crash was caused by a reckless motorcyclist, but that is based on the stereotype that all people who ride motorcycles are thrill-seeking daredevils. That is not fair, in my experience, cause most riders are more safety-conscious that other drivers because they understand how vulnerable they are on the road.
