El Paso County, TX — May 30, 2026, Andres Montanez was killed in a car accident just after 1 a.m. on Transmountain Road/State Highway Loop 375.
Authorities said an eastbound 2016 Honda Accord hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road at mile marker 20 near El Paso.
The pedestrian, 19-year-old Andres Montanez, died after being transported to a nearby hospital, according to authorities.
The Honda driver, who was not injured, is not facing any charges related to the crash at this time, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the El Paso County crash.
