Arlington, TX — December 2, 2023, Andres Estrada Mendez was injured in a car accident shortly before 8:30 p.m. along I.H. 30.
According to reports, a 23-year-old man was traveling in a Ram pickup truck on the Center Street off-ramp from westbound Interstate Highway when the accident took place.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, a Ford Fiesta was traveling in the wrong direction on the ramp, resulting in a head-on collision with the pickup truck. Andres Mendez—age 31—was the sole occupant of the Ford. He reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries as a result of the incident; Mendez was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. There were no other injuries reported.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
