Montgomery County, TX — March 18, 2026, Alondra Chavez was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. in the 5200 block of Jackson Road.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2019 Dodge Charger was heading northwest when it left the road and hit a tree south of Montgomery.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Montgomery County crash at this time.

How Did This Accident Occur?

It would be easy to blame a single-car crash like this on driver error, but what if another vehicle forced the Dodge off the road? Or if it swerved to avoid an object in its path? Or if the Charger had an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism? I don’t have any way of knowing if one of these scenarios played out on Jackson Road, but neither does anyone else until a full investigation is completed.

Investigators will review evidence from the scene, data from the Charger’s engine control module and any available video of the crash to piece together how the car went off the road, so the injured driver and her family will have answers to any lingering questions they may have after this accident.
