How Did This Accident Occur?
Obviously, authorities believe alcohol contributed to this crash. But saying this all happened due to a drunk driver might only tell half the story. If the allegations here are true, it’s also important to know where that alcohol came from. Minors can get alcohol from all kinds of sources, but one of the most concerning is the possibilities someone sold it to them.
In my experience handling hundreds of cases against negligent alcohol providers, when an establishment is breaking a rule like serving minors, they’re usually breaking all kinds of other rules. That sort of establishment needs to be put on the straight-and-narrow before their actions cause any more harm. Is this something authorities here are looking into, or do independent investigators need to step in and pick up the slack?
