San Jacinto County, TX — July 14, 2023, a teenager was injured following an alleged drunk driver accident at around 4:25 a.m. along U.S. Highway 190.
According to public information from authorities, the crash took place in the area of U.S 190 and Center Hill Road, near Oakhurst.
Preliminary statements say that a 19-year-old woman was in a Nissan Versa going eastbound along the highway. The driver of the Nissan apparently went into oncoming lanes where the Nissan crashed with a Chevy Silverado. As a result of the collision, the teenage passenger in the Nissan had serious injuries, authorities say.
It’s alleged that the Nissan driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. That person was recommended to be charged for intoxication assault. Currently, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
