Houston, TX — December 19, 2023, a man sustained injuries following an alleged drunk driver accident at around 5:30 p.m. along Hillcroft Avenue.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened in the area of the Hillcroft Avenue and Gulfton Street intersection.
According to officials, a 51-year-old man was in a Nissan Altima which was going southbound along Hillcroft. At Gulfton, authorities say that the Nissan was making a left turn with the right-of-way when a northbound Chevy Silverado ran the light and crashed into the Nissan.
Due to the collision, the 51-year-old man was seriously injured. The other driver did not have serious injuries reported. The driver of the Silverado allegedly was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Authorities recommended charges for DWI. Right now, additional details are unavailable.
