How Did This Accident Occur?

If this crash happened at the traffic light, which the vehicle directions suggest, then the most likely explanation is that someone failed to yield. That’s often the result of cellphone usage or just plane inattention. There could be unusual factors at play, of course. Even something like a possible vehicle defect is worth considering. What’s important is preserving evidence early and making sure investigators are being broad in their efforts.

To that end, did authorities look for any video footage of this accident? It could be that a nearby traffic camera caught the incident on video. Or, a nearby residence or business might have a security camera with a clear view of the road. This footage often gets routinely overwritten or deleted. So if authorities haven’t dug for that possible evidence already, it might raise questions about what else they overlooked.
