Burleson, TX — November 23, 2023, Alexis Reyna Thomas was injured following a car accident at around 10:00 p.m. along County Road 714.
Authorities said in their statements that the crash occurred near the intersection of County Road 714 and Broad Valley Drive, east of S.E. John Jones Drive.
According to officials, 26-year-old Alexis Reyna Thomas was in a Chrysler 200 traveling northbound on C.R. 714. For reasons which can’t be confirmed right now, the vehicle ran off the left side of the road where it crashed into a tree. Due to this, Thomas had apparently serious injuries. Authorities did not mention anyone else being involved in the accident.

A concern I always have with single-vehicle wrecks is they are often seen as low priority by the authorities. As a result, they may move on to other responsibilities before they’ve finished their investigations, and they either leave things as they are or go with their gut instinct to fill in the blanks.
This is why our firm gets so many calls from victims and families who either feel they’re not getting the answers they deserve or who feel they’re being blamed for something that wasn’t their fault. I wouldn’t be able to say how thorough authorities were with this particular crash, but it’s worth keeping in mind that the few details we in the public get to see rarely tell the whole story.
