Houston, TX — September 30, 2023, Alexa Cisneros, Jose Cisneros, and others were injured after a car accident at around 8:42 a.m. along Sam Houston Pkwy.
Authorities said in preliminary statements on the crash that is occurred at the intersection of South Sam Houston Parkway and West Bellfort Avenue.
According to investigators, 27-year-old Alexa Cisneros and 37-year-old Jose Cisneros were in a Honda Accord that was going eastbound along Bellfort. At the Tollway service road, police say that a northbound Toyota Sienna ran the light and crashed into the Honda.
Officials say that Alexa Cisneros and a teenager had serious injuries due to the crash. The driver of the Toyota was moderately injured. Jose Cisneros and two additional occupants in the Toyota had apparently minor injuries.
Authorities mentioned the condition of the Toyota’s brakes possibly contributing to the crash, but no further information is available right now.
