UPDATE (February 1, 2024): The identity of the man who lost his life as a result of this accident has been confirmed as 33-year-old Alberto Mora Rios Jr., of Fort Worth.
Arlington, TX — January 17, 2024, a pedestrian was killed in a car accident that took place shortly after 8:45 p.m. along Interstate 20.
According to authorities, a woman was traveling in a westbound Lexus along Interstate 20 in the vicinity of Bowen Road when the accident took place.
Preliminary reports indicate that the Lexus collided with a male pedestrian who had been on foot in the active lanes of the interstate. After the initial collision, officials state that it is likely he was hit by at least one other vehicle, as well. He was declared deceased at the scene.
