Harker Heights, TX — August 25, 2025, Ahstyn Troyer was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident that happened around 11:11 p.m. on Memory Lane.
Authorities said that the accident happened at Scarlet Lane, just south of I-14.
Investigators said that 23-year-old Ahstyn Troyer was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle going along the roadway. Doing so, the motorcycle somehow lost control and crashed. Due to this, Ahstyn Troyer was reportedly seriously injured.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Additional details are unavailable.

When it comes to motorcycle wrecks, it’s important to ensure investigators are taking things seriously. Unfortunately, a lot of people are biased against riders, and this can lead to incomplete or inaccurate investigations if authorities let that bias get in the way—something that’s far too common.
This is another situation where independent accident reconstructionists could prove helpful. Since their only priority is to gather facts, the evidence can tell the story without preconceived notions impact the investigations. That way, those involved in the accident can at least be certain their side of the story is being told fairly.
