Accident Report
February 28, 2026, Adriana Meza and three others were injured following a car accident at around 11:27 p.m. along US 271.
Authorities said they were called to the Highway 155 and US Highway 271 intersection northeast of Tyler in Smith County.
It appears that a 26-year-old man and 24-year-old Adriana Meza were in a Jeep Compass was going southwest along US 271. A Kia driven by a teenager was going northeast. The Kia reportedly failed to yield, and the vehicles collided.
As a result of the crash, Adriana Meza was said to have serious injuries. The driver of the Jeep and the two occupants from the Kia had moderate injuries. Right now, additional details are unconfirmed.
