Newton County, TX — December 13, 2025, Adrian Jenkins was injured following a car accident at around 4:42 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 2460.
Investigators said that the crash took place east of Kirbyville, just off the corner of FM 2460 and Highway 87.
According to officials, 36-year-old Adrian Jenkins was in a Chevy Silverado going northwest along the roadway. Due to factors not confirmed, the vehicle crashed. Adrian Jenkins reportedly had serious injuries due to the accident.

This is a totally reasonable concern, especially since authorities sometimes treat accidents like this as a low priority. That can lead to important details slipping through the cracks if investigators aren’t taking care to prioritize preserving evidence.
Sometimes, independent investigations can show that authorities actually did a good job on their own. Other times, it might show there are gaps in the story that need to be filled in. Ultimately, it’s up to victims and families to decide if it’s worth waiting around for authorities to get them answers that might not end up telling the whole story.
