According to these reports, 40-year-old Adam Pearson was traveling on a southbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle on University Avenue behind a Nissan Murano. The Nissan reportedly slowed in order to make a left turn and head eastbound on 144th Street. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the motorcycle attempted to pass the Nissan in a no-passing zone. A collision took place between the left side of the turning Nissan and the front-end of the motorcycle.
While Pearson was taken to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive treatment for his injuries, he was ultimately unable to overcome them, having been declared deceased the following day. No additional details are currently available. The investigation remains ongoing.
