Accident Report
March 21, 2026, one person was injured due to a reported accidental shooting at around 4:40 p.m. at a range off I-30.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident happened at the Shoot Smart – Fort Worth West indoor range located near I-30 and Las Vegas Trail.
It appears that three men were at the range. While handling a firearm, one of the men reportedly was shot accidentally. That man was taken to a hospital. There did not appear to be any other injuries.
