Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Following any serious car accident, it’s important to know if authorities are looking into all the right details. Sometimes, officers aren’t given the time or tools they need to do their jobs properly. That’s why it’s totally reasonable when victims or families want to bring in another pair of eyes to look things over and make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks.

Did authorities pull cellphone records. Did they look for nearby cameras? Have they inspected the vehicles for potential defects? Is this a dangerous intersection? Does the road need lighting or signage improvements? Likely or not, considering all possibilities is the best way to get the full story and ensure those involved in the crash get the best outcomes possible. Did that happen here?
