Plymouth County, IA — January 9, 2024, Aaron Manley was injured in a truck accident at the intersection of Highway 3 and K42 in Plymouth County.
According to authorities, a 37-year-old man was traveling in a southbound 18-wheeler hauling a trailer loaded with pigs on K42 approaching the Hwy. 3 intersection when the accident took place.

Reports indicate that, for unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler failed to yield the right-of-way to highway traffic, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision with a westbound 18-wheeler which was hauling a trailer loaded with logs. The sole occupant of the second 18-wheeler—48-year-old Aaron Manley—was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage. He had to be extracted upon arrival of emergency personnel. Manley allegedly incurred injuries of unknown severity and was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. No other injuries were reported.
