Galveston, TX — November 26, 2023, Aaron Bauzo was fatally injured as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 4:10 p.m. along Avenue J.
Investigators said in their statements that the crash happened off the corner of the Avenue J (U.S. Highway 87) and 59th Street intersection.
According to officials, 53-year-old Aaron Cesar Bauzo was behind the wheel of a Honda Civic going along Avenue J. That vehicle apparently lost control, causing it to skid sideways off the side of the road. There, the vehicle struck a utility pole and came to a halt.
Bauzo died as a result of the collision, police say. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Investigators have not confirmed any other details about the crash.
