Authorities are still collecting all the details following an accident involving two tractor-trailers on the northbound lanes of I-45 in Walker County. According to official reports, the collision took place near Park Road when an Averitt 18-wheeler struck a Schneider 18-wheeler that was pulled over on the shoulder.
Upon arrival by first responders, they found that the Averitt driver had sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the Schneider 18-wheeler reportedly had not received any injuries. At this time, authorities have not made any mention of potential charges or citations being issued.
