July 22, 2026, one person was injured as the result of a tractor-trailer vs. car accident at 11:00 a.m. on US Highway 27.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place in the area of Brannon Road south of Lexington.
Right now, the cause of the crash remains unclear. The news says a car crashed with the trailer of an 18-wheeler. As a result, one person from the car sustained serious injuries.

A lot of homes and business have cameras these days, and there could be one nearby the crash scene with a view of the road. That video tends to routinely get deleted, so it’s best to canvass the area ASAP before that happens.
