Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

While it’s not clear what led to this accident, any crash involving a commercial truck is bound to present significant challenges. While it’s understandable for victims and families to think that authorities are going to get them all the answers they need, not all police departments have the means to investigate something this complex. That’s why independent accident reconstructionists often have to step in and dig into the details themselves. In my experience, their investigations are more likely to get victims and families a clear picture of what happened and thus a proper resolution. I doubt a multi-vehicle commercial truck wreck will prove to be the exception to that.
