Raleigh County, WV — October 23, 2024, 1 person is dead following an 18-wheeler accident that occurred on I-77 at around 1:30 P.M. near the Ghent exit.
Authorities are investigating what lead to a severe accident on Wednesday that has claimed the life of at least one person. According to reports, the accident involved three tractor-trailers and occurred at 1:30 P.M. on I-77 in Raleigh County near exit 28.
Little is known at this time as to what caused the fatal accident, but we do know that traffic in the northbound lanes was stopped for several hours.
