Osceola County, FL — December 7, 2025, two people were injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 9:22 p.m. along Interstate 4.

Investigators said that the incident took place along both directions of the interstate near World Drive, southwest of Orlando.

According to officials, two people were in a Mercedes-Benz going westbound along I-4. In the oncoming lanes, it appears an 18-wheeler somehow lost control and crashed into the median barrier. This led to the Mercedes Benz crashing with parts of the barrier thrown into westbound lanes.

Authorities say that the two people in the Mercedes-Benz sustained minor injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

It’s encouraging to see there were only minor injuries reported here. However, truck accidents still need to be taken seriously regardless. I’ve actually had commercial vehicle accident cases where minor injuries became far more serious within days of the crash. Being thorough up front helps catch serious problems before they get too big and can prepare victims and families for worst case scenarios while evidence is still intact. So my hope is that injuries here really are minor but that they’re still being taken seriously.
