Chicago, IL — October 20, 2024, four people were injured in an 18-wheeler accident at around 4:10 A.M. on Route 41.
The North Chicago Police and Fire Department responded to an accident between a school bus and an 18-wheeler accident that left 4 people injured early Sunday morning. According to reports, the bus was transporting adults with visual impairments to work at the Great Lakes Naval Base when it struck the rear of an 18-wheeler on Route 41 near near Route 137.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that four people had sustained injuries, and they were transported to a nearby hospital. At this time, there has been no mention of any citations or charges being filed.
