Los Gallos Night Club is located in Bryan, Texas. In recent years, it has attracted the attention of the TABC due to allegations of liquor law violations. Between 2018 and 2019 alone, authorities conducted three separate investigations into the club's alcohol service practices.
In my experience, it is uncommon for a bar without a history of run-ins with the TABC to end up on the hook for contributing to a wrongful death or injury. TABC Investigations of Los Gallos Night Club Between 2018 and 2019

Allegations:
Law enforcement contacted the TABC on 09/15/2018, alleging that the club failed to report a breach of the peace (typically a fight).
Upon investigation, authorities were able to confirm that the club failed to report a breach, which they classified as an administrative violation. After handing down an unspecified penalty, the TABC closed the case on 12/04/2018.
A concerned citizen filed a complaint with the TABC on 07/16/2019, accusing the club of two counts of selling alcohol during prohibited hours.
While investigators failed to find any evidence to support the initial allegations, they did manage to find evidence that the club sold alcohol to a drunk customer, which they classified as an administrative violation. After handing down an unspecified punishment, the TABC concluded its work on the case on 08/28/2019.
A second law enforcement complaint reached the TABC on 12/04/2019, claiming that the club failed to report a breach of the peace.
Not only did the subsequent investigation find evidence to support the claim, but it also determined that the club sold alcohol to a drunk customer. After handing down unspecified punishments, the TABC ended its work on the case on 12/23/2019.
