It’s unclear if authorities ever located the driver involved in this. If they did, did they find out why the driver fled the scene? There’s often something besides the accident itself the driver wanted to hide from authorities. If the driver wasn’t found, how much information did authorities release to the local community? Someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward with a name or other details that can help lead to an arrest. That way, the victim and their family can see some accountability for the accident.
