Parker County, TX — October 26, 2025, a Weatherford teen was killed as the result of a car accident at around 9:40 p.m. along FM 1884.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened south of Weatherford on FM 1884/Bethel Road near Harmony Road.
Investigators said that a 17-year-old boy from Weatherford was in a vehicle going southbound on Bethel. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, and it crashed along the side of the road. The teen driver was killed due to the accident.

My hope is that authorities here gave this crash the attention it deserved. Unfortunately, that’s not a sure thing when a teenager is the one who was behind the wheel. A lot of folks jump to conclusions when drivers are young, assuming the victim must have done something wrong. I wouldn’t suggest ignoring any possibilities, but whether or not something gets attention shouldn’t depend on how likely it is. At the end of the day, the evidence should have the final say. That’s why the priority should be assuring families that they’re at least getting the full story. Did that happen here?
