Portage, MI — June 8, 2023, a Vicksburg man was killed as the result of a FedEx truck accident at 7:20 p.m. along Sprinkle Road.
According to officials with Portage Public Safety, the incident occurred in the area of the Sprinkle Road and East Kilgore Road intersection.
Initial details about the crash say that a 36-year-old Vicksburg man was on a motorcycle that was going southbound along Sprinkle Road. The roadway was apparently uneven due to construction, and details suggest that the motorcycle slowed down due to this. After doing so, it appears that a FedEx delivery truck crashed into the motorcycle.
