Generally, people see a single-vehicle wreck and assume that the driver must have done something wrong. With commercial trucks, though, all kinds of things can lead to a serious accident. Did a tire blowout? Was the driver forced to work long hours? Were they not properly trained? Is their employer not maintaining the truck? Did cargo shift while rounding a curve? If authorities aren’t considering these possible extenuating circumstances, they may be missing something important.
