Howard County, TX — May 29, 2023, two people were killed in a single-vehicle truck accident around 12:47 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 87 in Howard County.
Sources report the victim’s Kenworth semi-truck was heading southeast when the right front tire reportedly blew. The popped tire purportedly caused the truck to veer toward the passenger side and overturn onto the driver’s side. The truck allegedly rolled across an entrance ramp and came to a stop on its driver’s side on the south side of the road.
The two occupants of the suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
