Investigators say a Tesla was heading east along Highway 33 when it suddenly crossed the center lane line into opposing traffic. According to reports, the Tesla entered the path of the oncoming truck, and the two vehicles collided head-on.
Officials say four Tesla occupants, whose names have not been released, were killed in the accident. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities are investigating the events that led to the crash.
