San Antonio, TX — February 27, 2024, one person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 5:30 a.m. along Roosevelt Avenue, U.S. 281.
According to authorities, a Freightliner 18-wheeler was traveling eastbound on a private drive at Roosevelt Avenue in the vicinity of the San Rafael intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Freightliner entered the intersection at an unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to highway traffic. This resulted in a collision between the Freightliner and a southbound Ford F-250 occupied by a 42-year-old man.
The man from the Ford incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck, though they were apparently not life-threatening. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
