Mobile, AL — July 19, 2024, a woman was injured following a car versus tanker truck accident sometime before 8:00 a.m. along Interstate Highway 65.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of I.H. 65 in the vicinity between Government Boulevard and Interstate Highway 10.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between a tanker and a sedan. Due to the wreck, the sedan became wedged beneath the tanker, the woman inside resultantly entrapped in the vehicle. She was extricated from the aftermath and transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment for the injuries she incurred over the course of he accident.
