1 Injured in Truck Accident on F.M. 32 in Comal County, TX

Comal County, TX — September 9, 2024, one person was injured following a truck accident at approximately 10:30 a.m. along Farm to Market 32.

According to authorities, a truck was traveling westbound on Farm to Market 32 in the moments leading up to the wreck.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the truck failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered left of center and entered the eastbound lane of traffic. There, it was involved in a collision with an oncoming Nissan Altima, apparently flipping over on top of the Nissan over the course of the accident.

One person from the Altima was entrapped in the wreckage, according to reports, and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Upon being freed from the aftermath, the victim was transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive treatment for the injuries incurred due to the crash.
