Waco, TX — November 12, 2023, a cyclist was injured following a hit-and-run accident at around 11:30 p.m. on Homan Avenue.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident happened at the intersection of Homan Avenue and North 24th Street.
According to officials, a 41-year-old man was on a tricycle that was going westbound on Homan. It appears a Volkswagen struck the cyclist from behind, then left the scene. As a result of the collision, the cyclist had apparently serious injuries.
