Randall County, TX — April 10, 2024, Timothy Hickerson was injured following a motorcycle versus car accident at approximately 5:30 p.m. along F.M. 1541.
According to authorities, 42-year-old Timothy Hickerson was traveling on an eastbound motorcycle on SW 46th at the Washington intersection when the accident took place.
The intersection is apparently controlled by a traffic signal. Officials indicate that, as the light turned green, the motorcycle entered the intersection with the right of way; but for unknown reasons, a northbound Ford F-250 pickup truck failed to stop for the red light. This led to a collision between the front-end of the pickup truck and the right side of the motorcycle.
Hickerson suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
