Ross Township, PA — March 27, 2023, three people were injured in a box truck and a bus accident around 6 p.m. on McKnight Rd. in Ross Township.
According to authorities, the Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) bus was stopped at a designated location to let passengers off, just north of I-297, when it was allegedly rear-ended by a southbound box truck.
The driver of the box truck reportedly suffered serious injuries and two passengers on the PRT bus suffered minor injuries. All three victims were reportedly transported to a hospital.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
