Hood County, TX — May 21, 2023, Tanner Erwin was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 10:55 p.m. on F.M. 1189 in Hood County.
According to authorities, the victim was southbound on F.M. 1189 navigating a bend in the road when his Ford F-150 allegedly veered off the road to the west and then veered off the road to the east. When the truck left the road for a second time it reportedly collided with a fence and overturned. The F-150 purportedly came to a stop right side up facing west.
Mr. Erwin suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
