Alachua County, FL — June 20. 2023, two people were injured as the result of a tanker truck accident at around 5:45 a.m. along I-75.
According to preliminary information about the accident, the crash took place along the southbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 391.
It appears that conditions at the time of the crash were rainy. During these inclement conditions, a multi-vehicle wreck somehow occurred. The crash reportedly involved at least four vehicles, one of which was said to be a tanker truck. That truck ended up overturning.
As a result of the crash, reports show that two people were taken from the scene due to their injuries. Their injuries were said to be minor. Others involved apparently were released at the scene. Currently, additional details about the crash remain under investigation by Florida Highway Patrol and Alachua county officials.
