Harris County, TX — May 5, 2024, Stacy Erazo Aldana was injured as the result of a car accident around 2:11 a.m. along the North Freeway.
According to preliminary reports, the accident happened in the area of northbound lanes of I-45 near Airline Drive.
Investigators said that 22-year-old Stacy Erazo Aldana was in a Mitsubishi Outlander going northbound on the freeway. The vehicle somehow went onto the shoulder where it crashed. Authorities say that Stacy Erazo Aldana was seriously injured.
Authorities did not confirm any other details in the preliminary statements.

With authorities reporting serious injuries here, I have to wonder if officers were able to follow up with the victim and get her side of the story. It might surprise folks how often I’ve had cases where authorities only ever bothered looking into whatever was obvious at the crash scene. But if a driver is rushed to a hospital before they can speak to investigators, that’s a blank that needs to be filled in later. Did that ever happen here, or did authorities move on without dotting all the i’s and crossing their t’s?
