Glen Rose, TX — December 13, 2023, Sgt. Stephen Gibson was killed in a car accident at approximately 6:45 in the morning along S.H. 144.
According to authorities, Sgt. Stephen Gibson was on duty traveling in a northbound truck on State Highway 144 in a vicinity several miles south of Glen Rose when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, a southbound Ford F-150 veered left, crossing into the northbound traffic, resulting in a collision with Sgt. Gibson’s oncoming vehicle. Sgt. Gibson was declared deceased as a result of injuries incurred during the accident. No other injuries were reported.
